Known for their long arms and legs, both Lar Gibbons & White Cheeked Gibbons often cover distances of over 10 to 15 metres in a single swing in their natural habitat within the Jungle. However, despite being loved across Wildlife Parks & Zoos, these animals are Endangered in the wild.

The main threats to the Gibbon are habitat loss, hunting, and illegal trade. That’s why here at Hertfordshire Zoo, we are dedicated to preserving the future of these animals and ensuring that they not only survive, but they begin to thrive again.

For only £49 per year you can support our conservation efforts and help our team in providing a safe and protective habitat at our park for all of our Gibbons.

All Adoptees will receive a presentation pack including:

• Your name will be added to the adoption board of honour until your Adoption expiry date. (please note this can take up to 4 weeks from the start date)

When would you like your adoption to commence?

The adoption date must start within one month of purchase and lasts one year.
