By adopting a sengi, you are directly supporting the care of this fascinating and often overlooked species, while helping Hertfordshire Zoo play an active role in conservation both here and around the world. Every day, species face increasing threats in the wild, and your support helps us continue our mission to protect them.

Our black and rufous sengis, affectionately nicknamed ‘The Snootlets’, are a truly unique species, known for their long noses, lightning-fast movements and important role in their native ecosystems.

An adoption makes a thoughtful and meaningful gift, perfect for birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’s Day or simply for someone who loves wildlife.

All adoptees will receive a presentation pack including:

• Personalised adoption certificate
• Photograph of your chosen animal species
• Keyring
• Photo magnet
• Engraved notepad and pen

Your name will also be proudly displayed on our Adoption Board of Honour until your adoption expiry date (please allow up to 4 weeks from the start date)

Who will be adopting?

Please fill in the name of the person you would like to appear on your certificate and on the adoption board outside their habitat.

When would you like your adoption to commence?

The adoption date must start within one month of purchase and lasts one year.
